A creative hive for artists, dreamers, and gentle souls everywhere.

There are spaces we find… and then there are spaces that feel like they’ve been waiting for us. If you’ve stumbled across this page, maybe you’ve been quietly searching for a place like Indigobee — a place where creativity isn’t just a skill, but a form of connection, healing, and self-discovery.

At Indigobee Academy, we believe in more than just teaching illustration or art.
We believe in building something deeper:
💛 A sense of belonging.
💛 A space where you can express yourself freely.
💛 A kind and creative community where you’re not just seen — you’re truly welcomed.

🐝 Why Indigobee?

It’s a funny little name, we know — and we love it.

Indigo speaks to the dreamer in us all: slightly wacky, deeply creative, always seeing the world through a unique lens.
Bee is all about our values: working hard, building something meaningful together, staying connected and contributing to the hive.

Together, Indigobee symbolises the perfect balance of imagination and intention — where soulful expression meets steady purpose. We create not just for the sake of creating, but to connect, to share, to inspire.

Just like bees in a hive, we’re all about collaboration, beauty in the details, and a deep sense of purpose in the work we do.

🌸 Our Roots

Indigobee started, like many good things do, with a friendship.

Elina, an award-winning illustrator, and Tetyana, an entrepreneur with a passion for people and purpose, met over 12 years ago in the UK. Their shared vision? To make creativity more accessible — especially for those who often feel left out of traditional artistic spaces and  create something truer, more inclusive, and more aligned with their evolving hearts.

✨ What We Believe

At the core of Indigobee is a simple belief:
Creativity has the power to change lives.

We’ve seen it firsthand. In our courses, in our marathons, in quiet DMs from students who tell us that art helped them through depression, through transition, through self-doubt.

We’re not here to push you to hustle harder or “make it” in a conventional way.
We’re here to offer you something else — something softer, but just as powerful:

  • A safe place to grow at your own pace
  • Support from real humans who care
  • Guidance to help you find your creative voice
  • Encouragement to go slow, go deep, and go with heart

🧵 Who Is This For?

Indigobee is for the curious. The sensitive. The ones who doodled in the margins. The ones who came back to art later in life. The ones who need a quiet space to bloom.

Our community includes:

  • 🌼 Women 25–45, especially those balancing creativity with motherhood and life’s many layers
  • 📚 Aspiring children’s book illustrators building skills and looking for mentorship
  • 🫶 Gentle souls who seek beauty, calm, and emotional connection through art
  • 🌙 People starting over — after burnout, career shifts, or simply the call of a new creative path
  • 🧶 Hobbyists and heart-first learners, rediscovering the joy of making something by hand
  • 💬 Those who feel isolated or unseen, and want a kind, authentic community around them

And it’s not just online. Through in-person workshops in the UK, we also connect with:

  • 🧓 Older adults seeking creative engagement and new friendships
  • 👩‍👧 Families exploring art together
  • 🧘‍♀️ Wellness seekers using creativity as meditation
  • 🌍 Culturally diverse individuals building bridges through shared stories

🌈 What Makes Us Different?

So many online platforms are about flashy promises and fast-track success.
We’re something else entirely.

We believe in:
💛 Education with empathy — no gatekeeping, no overwhelm, just support.
💛 Art as healing — many students have said our courses helped them through anxiety, loneliness, or tough times.
💛 Quality + heart — everything we create is thoughtful, beautiful, and built with intention.
💛 Accessibility + inclusion — we welcome people from all backgrounds and make space for all voices.
💛 Giving back — we reinvest into our community and often offer scholarships and charity events for those in need.

🚀 Our Dream for the Future

This year, we’re buzzing with excitement. Our goals are:

  • To launch our flagship illustration course and a few shorter, soulful workshops
  • To grow our Instagram community to 100K amazing humans
  • To earn enough to support our small team, while keeping our prices accessible
  • To win our first grant and create social impact projects that bring art into underserved communities
  • To host offline events that bring people together around paint, paper, and purpose

💌 A Love Letter to You

If you’re here, maybe you’re craving something more than just another course.
Maybe you’re looking for connection. A slower rhythm. A safe space to grow.

At Indigobee, you’re not just a name on a list. You’re part of the hive.
And together, we’re building something tender, brave, and full of possibility.

So stay a while.
Paint outside the lines.
Follow the quiet call of creativity.
We’re here with you — every step of the way. With love,
